UPDATE: FBI STATEMENT REGARDING BINGHAMTON SHOOTINGS

Special Agent in Charge John F. Pikus released the following statement:

“The FBI is on-scene providing support to the lead agency, the Binghamton Police Department. We have dispatched Crisis Negotiators, Evidence Response Team crime scene investigators, and investigative support, and will provide any assets requested by the local authorities. These elements will work in concert with the Binghamton Police Department, the Broome County Sheriff, and the New York State Police. Our thoughts are with the victims of this tragedy.”
