UNITED STATES ATTORNEY'S OFFICE March 6, 2007 MONTPELIER MAN INDICTED FOR POSSESSION AND TRANSPORTATION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont stated that a grand jury sitting in Burlington returned a two-count Indictment against Craig Graham, 44, of Montpelier, Vermont, charging him with possession and transportation of child pornography. Graham was arraigned on Monday March, 5, 2007 and he pled not guilty to the charges. He was released on a variety of conditions, including home confinement with electronic monitoring. According to the Indictment, on March 28, 2006, Craig Graham sent, via computer, two videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit activity. Graham also possessed child pornography on his computer. If convicted, for each offense, Graham faces a potential penalty of imprisonment for not less than 5 years and not more than 20 years, a $250,000 fine or both. The United States Attorney emphasizes that the charges in the indictment are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until he is proven guilty. This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Vermont State Police. Assistant United States Attorney Wendy L. Fuller has been assigned to prosecute the case. Michael L.
