Unit; Gwen Wilkinson, District Attorney of Tompkins County; and Peter Meskill, Sheriff of Tompkins County, make the following announcement: Douglas Jennings, 42, who formerly resided in Groton, New York, pleaded guilty today before Senior United States District Court Judge Thomas J. McAvoy in Federal District Court, Binghamton, New York. Jennings pleaded guilty to all 32 counts of the superseding indictment. He pleaded guilty to one count of Production Of Child Pornography; thirty counts of Receiving Child Pornography Via The Internet; and one count of Possession Of Child Pornography. Jennings will be sentenced on March 1, 2007 by Senior United States District Court Judge Thomas J. McAvoy in Federal District Court, Binghamton, New York. He faces a mandatory minimum term of 15 years imprisonment and a possible maximum term of 30 years imprisonment. The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Miroslav Lovric.
